Joe Brester has been living in Central Kentucky for 37 years. Like many people, he came to town to attend UK and never left. He and his wife, Carol, have raised 4 children in Lexington.

Unlike many homebuilders, those who entered the business via construction trades, Joe has evolved into a production home builder by way of a sales career with Rector-Hayden from 1979-1989. Brester Marketing Group, a company dedicated to consulting and ‘on-site’ marketing for many builders in Central Kentucky, began in 1989. In 1994, Joe decided to give the market place what it wanted. Brester Homes started, and continues today, building quality affordable homes.

In 2004, Joe’s son, Drew Brester joined the company. Armed with his Business Degree, he has made the operations more efficient and therefore made Brester Homes even more affordable.

For the past 9 years, Brester Homes has built over 600 homes. Today, with over 30 tried and true plans, Brester Homes is building in 5 Central Kentucky counties and has over 50 homes in all stages of construction at any time. The company are headquartered in Lexington off I-75 & I-64 for easy access to all Central Kentucky.
